2. About the Festival
Capital Expo Festival is a free, family-friendly community event held annually at Lakeview Park in Frankfort, Kentucky. Information on this Site — including dates, schedules, entertainment lineups, vendor and sponsorship details, and event activities — is provided for general informational purposes and is subject to change without notice.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
4. Vendor & Sponsor Applications
Vendor and sponsor applications submitted through this Site are requests to participate and are not confirmed until reviewed and accepted by the Festival. Submitting an application does not guarantee a booth, space, or sponsorship placement. Fees, payment methods, and participation requirements are described on the relevant Vendors and Sponsors pages. Unless stated otherwise in writing, vendor and sponsor fees are non-refundable. Vendors are responsible for their own permits, licenses, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and health regulations.
5. Payments
Certain activities — such as vendor fees, sponsorships, and event registrations — may involve payment. Payments may be processed through third-party services such as PayPal, or accepted by check or other methods described on the Site. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on this Site. Your use of any third-party payment service is subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
6. Tax-Deductible Contributions
Capital Expo Festival is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Sponsorships and donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will provide a receipt upon request after payment is received. Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
7. Event Changes & Cancellations
The Festival reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any event, activity, performance, or schedule item at any time, including for weather or circumstances beyond our control. The most current information will be posted on this Site and on our official Facebook page.
8. Third-Party Links
This Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as sponsor sites or payment providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting those sites is at your own risk.
9. Intellectual Property
The Capital Expo Festival name, logo, and the content on this Site are the property of the Festival or its content providers and may not be copied or reused without permission. Sponsor and vendor logos shown on the Site remain the property of their respective owners.
